One of the most successful cracks in the glass ceiling of the wealth management sector, Mel Lagomasino has not only made a name for herself, but also transfers her expertise to women worldwide as CEO at GenSprings Family Offices.

Lagomasino is a central figure in GenSpring’s Women & Wealth Initiative, which offers learning programs to women on a broad array of wealth management issues, such as the foundations of investing, estate and tax planning, intergenerational finance education and female wealth empowerment. In addition to GenSpring’s initiative, Lagomasino speaks regularly at women’s financial forums.

During her 35 years in wealth management, Lagomasino worked in the private banking divisions of some of the world’s leading banks and was CEO of the Private Banking Division of JPMorgan Chase & Co. Now, as CEO of GenSpring, she oversees all leadership and management activities as well as strategic planning for the firm, which has more than $20 billion in assets under advisement.
